  • Ecwid

    • Ecwid is the online store connected to our website and is operated by BIOHIT. Ecwid does not handle your credit card information (i.e. it does not collect, store, or process such data in any way). To process your payment information Ecwid connects directly to a payment gateway via a highly secure channel and sends a request with the order information to the payment processor. This information is not transferred, nor does it pass through, our servers, and it is not stored by us. Ecwid uses secure hosting for all data in its store using Amazon Web Services. Ecwid is certified under the EU - U.S. and Swiss - U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks; this arrangement calls for certified organisations to guarantee a level of security in line with EU data protection law regarding the transfer of personal data from the EEA and Switzerland to the U.S.

  • Stripe

    • Stipe Inc. is the payment gateway that receives and processes your payment information securely in order to complete a transaction when you make a purchase in our store provided by Ecwid. Payment Data may be transferred, processed and stored outside of United Kingdom and, may be subject to disclosure as required by applicable Laws. Therefore, BIOHIT requires that, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, you grant to us all necessary consents under applicable Laws in relation to this. The information that Stripe collects will include payment method information (such as credit or debit card number, or bank account information), purchase amount, date of purchase, and payment method. This exchange of information between Ecwid and Stripe is necessary to maintain business operations and to provide the service requested. By requesting or accepting these products or services, you are permitting us to provide your information, including your Personal Information, to the other party.

  • Shipstation

    • Auctane LLC, doing business as ShipStation, enables BIOHIT to fulfil purchases made by you by importing, managing and shipping orders. The service receives and processes your information in order to arrange shipment of the products ordered. Shipstation receives your information securely from Ecwid, BIOHIT’s online store, including purchase amount, date of purchase, and payment method used, order number, products ordered, quantity, as well as personally identifiable information including your name, address, email and telephone number. Shipstation does not collect payment details from you, only the method of payment. This exchange of information between Ecwid and Shipstation is necessary to maintain business operations and to provide the service requested. By requesting or accepting these products or services, you are permitting us to provide your information, including your Personal Information, to the other party. Shipstation may use such data to enhance the delivery process for our customers and as such it may use notifications and geodata for that purpose. This may involve Shipstation sharing such details with limited third parties’ data processors, for the purpose of completing the requested services.
