Terms and Conditions

General

Please read these terms and conditions (“T&C”) carefully. These T&C apply to all contracts for the sale of goods by BIOHIT healthcare Ltd (“BIOHIT”, “we”, or “us”) whose legal address is Pioneer House, Pioneer Business Park, North Road, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire CH65 1AD United Kingdom, trading via the website www.acetium.co.uk (“acetium.co.uk”, or “website”) to any customer (“you”) and form basis by which you can use our website and place orders for items from it.

All content made available through the website is owned and operated by BIOHIT. The services and products provided to you are subject to the following notices, terms, and conditions. By accessing and using the website you accept and agree to be bound by these T&C. These T&C apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the website. These terms and the Privacy Policy form a legally binding agreement between you and BIOHIT Provider in relation to your use of BIOHIT’s Services.

Should you disagree with any part of these T&C you should not use the website.

 

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. By accessing and using the website and services we provide, you acknowledge and agree that our collection, usage and disclosure of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Orders and Contract

To place orders at acetium.co.uk you must be aged 18 or over, and, be a UK resident or resident of the Republic of Ireland. By accessing acetium.co.uk and/or ordering products from acetium.co.uk you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms.

Orders of products may be placed at acetium.co.uk and shall be paid for in full including any delivery costs at prior to the dispatch of goods. Upon placing an order, you shall specify the shipping address and enter a valid payment method to complete the transaction. Accepted orders shall be dispatched to your shipping address in accordance with our delivery schedule and within 30 days, at which point a contract is formed with you. Before the goods are dispatched you may withdraw your order at any time. Once your goods have been delivered You may cancel the contract within 14 days.

Orders placed via the website are processed by Ecwid, the online store connected to our website operated by BIOHIT. By making a purchase on our website and accepting these T&C you expressly authorise Ecwid to collect, use, retain, and disclose any Personal Data that you provide in order to enable us to provide the service to you.

 

Prices

Prices payable for the productss purchased shall be the amount shown on the website in GBP and are inclusive of any value added tax (VAT) or sales tax. The Company may at any time revise prices to take into account any increase in costs (including but not limited to the cost of raw materials, labour, transport or other overheads, any tax, duty or other levy and variation in exchange rates. The current price will be shown at the time of placing your order.

Accepted payment methods

You may pay for your goods purchased at acetium.co.uk using any major credit or debit card (e.g. Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Maestro). During checkout you may be asked to provide, without limitation, your card number, expiry date and CVV code, billing address and delivery information.

By making a purchase you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) for that purchase and that any information you provide is accurate and complete.

BIOHIT is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from the submission of false or inaccurate information.

By providing such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of completing the transactions required for the purchase.

BIOHIT reserves the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to: product availability, errors and omissions related to the product price and/or description, and errors in your order.

 

Payments

We use third-party regulated payment services for processing payment transactions, provided by Stripe (Stripe Payments UK Limited (SPUKL)), a company registered in England number 08480771 and having its registered address at 9th Floor, 107 Cheapside, London, EC2V 6DN United Kingdom, (“Stripe”).  Stripe is regulated by the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority.

When you make payments or conduct transactions through our website, Stripe will receive your transaction information directly from you. The information that Stripe collects will include payment method information (such as credit or debit card number, or bank account information), purchase amount, date of purchase, and payment method.

By making a purchase on our website and accepting these T&C you expressly authorise Stripe to collect, use, retain, and disclose any Personal Data that you provide in order to enable us to provide the service to you. Your Payment Data may be transferred, processed and stored outside of United Kingdom as set out in our Privacy Policy and it may be subject to disclosure as required by applicable Laws. Accordingly, you consent to this under applicable Laws in relation to the foregoing. We do not collect, store, interrupt or access your payment card details. Payment card details are submitted directly to Stripe when you checkout.

You are not required to register or pay extra costs for using the payment service.

 

Availability

Orders are fulfilled subject to the goods being available at the date of receipt of an order from the customer. We will make every effort to deliver the Goods within the time agreed.

Specification

We take every reasonable care to ensure that the specifications of goods are accurate. However, specifications may change.

All information provided including but not limited to: product images, designs, dimensions and specifications, therefore, are approximate only and intended merely to present a general Idea of goods described therein. BIOHIT shall have no liability in respect of any deviation therefrom.

BIOHIT is continually seeking to improve upon the goods and services provided and therefore reserves the right without notice and without affecting the validity of or incurring liability under the contract to make such changes of detail in material and dimensions, specifications and design it considers desirable. BIOHIT accepts no responsibility for any errors, omissions or other defects in any drawings, designs or specifications and catalogues not prepared by the Company and the Company shall be indemnified by you against any and all liabilities and expenses incurred by BIOHIT arising therefrom.

 

Language

This information is supplied in the English language only. English shall be the language used for all communications throughout our agreement.

 

Shipping and Dispatch

BIOHIT uses the services of Auctane LLC, doing business as ShipStation, to prepare shipping and dispatch documentation and labels. Shipstation enables BIOHIT to fulfil purchases made by you by importing, managing and shipping orders. The service receives and processes your information in order to arrange shipment of the products ordered. Shipstation receives your information securely from Ecwid, BIOHIT’s online store, including purchase amount, date of purchase, and payment method used, order number, products ordered, quantity, as well as personally identifiable information including your name, address, email and telephone number. Shipstation does not collect payment details from you, only the method of payment. This exchange of information between Ecwid and Shipstation is necessary to maintain business operations and to provide the service requested. By making a purchase on our website and accepting these T&C you expressly authorise BIOHIT to collect, use, retain, and disclose and transfer to Shipstation, any Personal Data that you provide in order to enable us to provide the service to you. You also authorise Shipstation to use such data to enhance the delivery process for our customers and as such it may use notifications and geodata for that purpose. This may involve Shipstation sharing such details with limited third parties’ data processors, for the purpose of completing the requested services.

 

Delivery

Delivery will only be made to physical addresses. We will not deliver to PO boxes or other virtual addresses. Our standard delivery charges are as follows:

UK and Northern Ireland £2.45 per delivery of up to 50 units. Free of charge thereafter.

Republic of Ireland £5.00 per delivery of up to 50 units. Free of charge thereafter.

The cost of delivery is shown in the final cost at checkout before you make your purchase. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday excluding public holidays and bank holidays. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

During busy periods our standard delivery services may be affected.

 

Cancelling the contract

You have the right to cancel your order with us within 14 days from the date following receipt of your order. Please contact us by email at cs@biohithealthcare.co.uk before returning any products.

You can return any product in its original condition within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund. Your right to cancel will be waived on grounds of health protection and hygiene reasons if you have opened the goods. All returns should be sent with a copy of your proof of purchase to: Returns, BIOHIT healthcare Ltd, Pioneer House, Pioneer Business Park, North Road, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire CH65 1AD, United Kingdom. Postage must be paid by the sender and will not be refunded. You should keep a copy of your proof of return (e.g. Postal service record) until you have received your refund. Refunds will be made to the payment method that you used to place your order within 28 days.

BIOHIT shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to returned goods during transit and you may be charged or not refunded in such events for the amount to recover the loss or damage. BIOHIT is not responsible for any liability for loss or damage arising from the cancellation of orders. In cases where fraud or unauthorised or illegal transactions are suspected BIOHIT reserves the right to refuse or cancel your order.

 

Returns & Refunds

You may return most items in a new and unused condition and in the original packaging. If you want to cancel/return your order you must tell us within 14 days (beginning on the day after the day you receive the goods), and you then have 14 days to return the items. To return items to us you must complete the return form which can be found on your packing list that accompanied your delivery.

You can return any product in its original condition within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund. Should you choose to cancel or return your order you must inform us within 14 days starting from the day after you received your order. Once confirmed you must then return the goods to us within 14 days.

All returns should be sent with a copy of your proof of purchase and completed returns form to: Returns, BIOHIT healthcare Ltd, Pioneer House, Pioneer Business Park, North Road, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire CH65 1AD, United Kingdom.

Postage must be paid by you and will not be refunded. You should keep a copy of your proof of return (e.g. Postal service record) until you have received your refund. Refunds will be made to the payment method that you used to place your order within 28 days.

Complaints

If you are not entirely satisfied by the product or your experience you may raise a complaint. Complaints should be made by phone, email or letter addressed to the Managing Director via the contact details below.

If you are not satisfied with the way in which we handle your complaint or believe your consumer rights have been affected you may contact the Legal Ombudsman via https://www.legalombudsman.org.uk/ or seek for an alternate dispute resolution via the European Online Dispute Resolution platform

 

Members Area

The website provides a members area that is free to access and use and by joining our members area you agree to provide information that is true and up-to-date at all times. You shall be responsible for safeguarding your username and password used to access the members area regardless of whether your password is with our website or a third-party service or provider (e.g. Google, Facebook etc). By using the members area, you agree not to disclose your username or password to any third party. If you suspect a breech in security related to your membership you must notify us immediately.

 

Testimonials, Reviews and Comments

The website provides a blog which members and users of the website can comment, review and provide testimonials related to the blog content or products. By submitting a testimonial, review or comment through the website you grant BIOHIT a non-exclusive and royalty free unrestricted worldwide license to reproduce and use your reviews for any and all of its marketing and/or its advertising campaigns. You expressly agree that you will only submit comments that contain relevant information about a product and that you shall refrain from submitting comments that make unsubstantiated medical claims, indecent or inappropriate language or content, or that contain personally identifiable information as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). BIOHIT reserves the right to remove any customer review at any time.

 

Copyright

The entire contents of the website shall vest and be the exclusive property of BIOHIT, or its Affiliate(s) or supplier(s), as the case may be. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of BIOHIT, and protected by international copyright laws.

Intellectual property rights and Trademarks

Intellectual property rights and trademarks that appear on this site shall vest and be the exclusive property of BIOHIT, or its Affiliate(s) or supplier(s), as the case may be.

 

Warranty and Liability

BIOHIT warrants that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period. The warranty period will be stated in the product insert, catalogue, brochure, leaflet or quotation for such products and will commence from the date on which the product is delivered. Where the warranty period is not stated it will be for 12 months. This does not apply to consumable products or products with a shelf life of less than 12 months.

BIOHIT shall not be liable to the Customer: for any defect in the Products arising from fair wear and tear; wilful damage, negligence of the customer or of any third party, failure to follow the instructions for use, user, storage, or other product instructions; or, for shortages in quantity delivered unless the Customer notifies us of any claim for short delivery within 2 days or receipt of the goods; or, for damage to or loss of the goods or any part thereof in transit unless the Customer notifies us of any such claim within 2 days of receipt of the goods.

Return of products for inspection when warranty repair or replacement is claimed shall be at the Customer’s expense unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may at our option make good any shortage or non-delivery and/or as appropriate replace or repair any goods found to be damaged or defective.

BIOHIT’s aggregate liability to the Customer whether for negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the cost of the defective, damaged or undelivered goods determined by net price invoiced to the Customer in respect of any occurrence or series of occurrences.

 

Limitation of Liability

Subject to these T&C, warranties and representations expressed or implied by statute, common law or otherwise in relation to the goods are hereby excluded and BIOHIT, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates, shall be under no liability to the Customer for any loss, damage or injury direct or indirect, resulting from defective material, faulty workmanship or otherwise howsoever arising and whether or not caused by the negligence of BIOHIT, its employees or agents.

Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits the liability of BIOHIT for death or personal injury caused by BIOHIT’s negligence or fraudulent representation, any liability under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for any other matter the liability for which cannot be limited by law.

Except for any warranties expressly set out in these T&C any warranties, conditions or representations whether implied by statute or otherwise shall be excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

Governing Law

Our agreement with you is governed by and construed in accordance with English law.

Changes

BIOHIT reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time without prior notice. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be displayed on the website at www.acetium.co.uk

 
Acetium Lozenge

Ingredients:
The active substance of lozenge is slow dissolving L-cysteine (3 mg/tablet). Other ingredients: xylitol (250 mg/tablet) (E967), sorbitol (224 mg/tablet) (E420), smoke flavor, anise flavor, magnesium stearate (E470b), silicon dioxide (E551). Tablet weight 500 mg. Does not contain lactose, gluten or nicotine.

Acetium should not be used if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or suffer from renal insufficiency or cystinuria. If unsure, always consult your doctor.
